Polaris Off-Road has announced the release of the 2026 RZR Pro XP Ultimate, now available in Tractor (T1b) homologation.
After inventing the Sport SXS category in 2007, Polaris RZR has delivered legendary victories in racing championships across the world, including the Baja 1000, the FIA W2RC World Title, and nine SSV Dakar Rally Victories. Having sustained its position as the market leader since its inception, the Polaris RZR platform now adds street legality to the 2026 RZR Pro XP Ultimate model with Tractor (T1b) homologation, expanding the horizons of what this platform can do and ensuring that the adventure never has to stop where the pavement begins.
"Bringing Tractor Homologation to the RZR Pro XP Ultimate is a direct response to our customers who demand a machine without compromise”, commented Nuno Fujo, International Market Manager, Global Recreation. “They want the performance that defines the RZR DNA, but they also need the practical versatility to travel from their garage to the trail. By integrating road legality, we are expanding the horizons of what this platform can do, ensuring that the adventure never stops, no matter the surface.”
Tractor homologation enhances the RZR Pro XP Ultimate by meeting the required EU homologation standards, which ensure road readiness through a suite of integrated safety features. These include a full LED signalling system with turn indicators, mirrors, and a horn, all incorporated into the vehicle's design alongside RZR Fang Accent Lighting. This classification, therefore, provides owners with the flexibility to travel legally between roads, trails, or work sites, unlocking new potential for both recreational and utility use with the world’s leading Sport SXS platform.
The RZR Pro XP Ultimate retains the race-bred performance that has underpinned the model’s success. Power from its 4-stroke DOHC twin-cylinder turbocharged engine is distributed across a 244CM (96-inch) wheelbase, measuring 162CM (64-inch) in width, providing a planted feel while maintaining the agility needed for tight trails through Xtreme Performance true on-demand AWD/2WD.
The vehicle’s suspension architecture is designed to handle the most demanding off-road environments, offering 56CM (22 inches) of travel in the rear and 51CM (20 inches) in the front. Damping is controlled by the DYNAMIX 2.0 semi-active suspension system, which adjusts the FOX ® 2.5 Podium Live Valve shocks in real-time to give you ultimate control on any surface on 30” tyres. This technology stiffens the outside shocks during cornering to reduce body roll and softens them for straight-line comfort, ensuring that the machine's on-road manners are as refined as its off-road capability.
The 2026 model focuses on rider experience with a refined dash layout and improved touchpoints. A 7” RIDE COMMAND display offers GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and a rear camera, while the premium Rockford Fosgate Stage 4 audio system delivers clear sound even at riding speeds.
New solid half doors enhance comfort with double latches for better sealing against dust and water. Dual hood scoops that direct fresh air into the cockpit, working in tandem with radiator deflectors to deliver lower interior temperatures. Riders are secured by bucket seats featuring new 4-point harnesses, designed for quick adjustments and maximum security during driving.
To further enhance the 2026 RZR Pro XP Ultimate, Polaris offers a comprehensive range of accessories engineered to allow riders to customise their vehicle to their exact needs.
Riders can shield themselves from the elements with a full glass windshield, featuring double-layer, laminated, and tempered glass. This pairs perfectly with the Glass Windshield Wiper Kit, which includes a washer fluid reservoir and multi-speed dash control. Upgrades for vehicle protection are avaliable with the front and rear High Coverage Bumpers, alongside the Heavy Duty Kick-Out Rock Sliders built from rugged 4.5cm steel tubing for outstanding protection without impeding performance.
For extended adventures, Polaris offers durable 69L forward and 40L rear Cargo Boxes, engineered with Lock & Ride technology to secure the boxes and seal out dust and water. Utility can be further enhanced by the Polaris PRO HD 2,041 KG winch, complete with Rapid Rope Recovery, Auto Stop Technology, and a synthetic rope. Riders can also equip the Pivoting Spare Tyre Carrier, capable of securely holding up to a 33" tyre and supporting 34 KG of weight.
For riders looking to elevate their audio experience, the Rockford Fosgate® Audio Roof seamlessly ties into the RZR’s in-dash RIDE COMMAND system. The roof features dual 400W amplifiers, four 50W 8” speakers, and a 10” subwoofer to deliver powerful, clear sound. The marine-grade IP67 waterproof roof also includes a 33" ProArmor Single-Row Light Bar, RGB accent lights, and an LED dome light for flexible interior and exterior illumination. Additionally, riders can mount the 84cm ProArmor Single-Row Combo LED light bar, which features aluminium housing and high-output LEDs for dependable brightness on the trail.
